FCHS Joins "Give Big CHQ" 2025 - A Celebration of Community Giving

The Fluvanna Community Historical Society (FCHS) is proud to once again participate in the annual 'Give Big CHQ,' a 24-hour online fundraising event taking place this year on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
Hosted by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, 'Give Big CHQ' is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of the generosity, resilience, and collaboration that defines Chautauqua. This event brings together nonprofits from across the region to raise awareness and support for the work they do every day.
FCHS has been a longtime supporter of 'Give Big CHQ' and the Community Foundation, and we’re honored to be part of this effort again. The Foundation has been a generous partner to our Society for many years, helping us preserve and share the rich history of Fluvanna and the surrounding area.

Restore and maintain historic landmarks, like the Meeting House,
Preserve historical artifacts and records,
Digitize and preserve local archives,
Offer community and educational events, and so much more!
